EPG Domestic were contacted by a member of the local church to see if we could help with a property that they owned - a 3 bed semi-detached house that a member of staff lives in.
We conducted a full room by room heat loss calculation for the property to MIS-3005 to work out the size of the heat pump to be installed.
The current hot water cylinder was in the loft but was a gravity cylinder with a pump.
We installed a new pressurised cylinder on a remade platform as the existing had some water damage and was crumbling.
All ground floor radiators were changed for larger ones and a heated towel rail was fitted in the kitchen as there wasn’t any radiator in that room.
The heat pump was installed in the back garden.
We received the grant for this install despite the property being church owned - EPG Domestic managed the extra paperwork.
